KIDS’ AND TEEN CLUBS

Our Kids’ and Teen Clubs will be open, in accordance with current regulations so as to ensure everyone’s safety.
However, we can assume that their reopening will be subject to a number of recommendations from the health authorities.

All of the information provided below applies ONLY to customers who booked a reservation directly with MS Vacances.

If that is not your case, please contact your agency (and check your contract).

I ALREADY BOOKED A STAY. WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS FOR CANCELLATION?

We have kept your reservation, given that our Camping Clubs are scheduled to reopen on Saturday, 13 June 2020. If you would still like to cancel your stay with us, the General Terms of Sale will apply:
“1.3.3. Cancellations No late arrivals, early departures, cancellations, etc., caused by your own doing, will give rise to a refund. For the Club to hold your rental, you must inform us if you will be arriving later than planned. The Club reserves the right to hire out your rental or pitch if we have not heard from you within 24 hours of your scheduled arrival date. Payments already made will not be refunded. Cancellation requests must be sent to the MS Vacances booking team by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, email, etc.”

The French Tourism Code states that you may receive a credit for any amounts paid, in the event of the campground’s closure by government order, stipulating that “travellers have the right to terminate their contract before the beginning of their stay, without paying any cancellation fees, if unavoidable, unprecedented circumstances arising at or in the immediate vicinity of the destination should have substantial consequences on the contract’s fulfilment”.

French Order No. 2020-315 does not therefore provide for a credit if the stay was booked for dates when the campground is open.

However, if you took out cancellation insurance and need to cancel your booking for a reason, other than the COVID-19 pandemic, which falls under the General Terms of Cancellation, your file will be sent to the insurer. As a reminder, the General Terms of Cancellation stipulate that: “Interruptions resulting from epidemics/pandemics are not covered.”

> If you have reserved a rental: the remaining balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the beginning of your stay.

> If you have reserved a camping pitch: the remaining balance must be paid on the day of your arrival, before you are given access to your pitch.

I HAVE A CREDIT, HOW DO I USE IT ?

The credit we have just issued to you is valid and can be used for a stay any time in 2020 or 2021. It can be used to plan another stay at the MS Vacances Camping Club of your choice. If the new stay you book is less expensive, you will be used another credit for the difference, which may be used during that same period of validity. Conversely, if the new stay is more expensive, once the credit has been deducted from the price, the remaining amount will be payable by you. All our credits adhere to the instructions set forth in French Order 2020-315 of 25 March 2020 on the financial conditions for the cancellation of certain tourist travel and accommodation contracts in the case of unavoidable, unprecedented circumstances or force majeure events.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE BORDERS BETWEEN MY COUNTRY AND FRANCE ARE CLOSED ?

According to the latest announcements of the different European governments, we are pleased to inform you that all of the borders within the EU will be open by mid-June.
However, if you are unable to travel to the campground you reserved due to border closures, your stay will be cancelled, and a credit will be issued to you. This measure is confirmed by French Order 2020-315 of 25 March 2020. In this case, the credit you are issued will be valid for 18 months. If you do not use that credit in full or in part before the end of that 18 month period, the remaining amount will then be refunded to you.

Any requests accepted on the day of your arrival, and only with management approval, will automatically be subject to an additional charge.
