Sleeping arrangements at our 4-star campsite in Biscarrosse
For a true camping experience by the water’s edge, like Robinson Crusoe washed up on the beach, stake your tent on one of our sandy pitches in the shade of pine trees. There, you can commune with nature and awaken to the music of birds singing and water lapping against the boats docked at the port. Each pitch still has a 10A power hook-up though!
Do you prefer the comforts of a permanent structure with its own bathroom? Then take your pick from amongst our different cottages. You will feel right at home, yet in a completely new and exotic setting.
Our campsite also has a bar and snack bar for quick bites, a fresh bread delivery service for tasty breakfasts and a barbecue area for succulent grilled dishes to share with family or friends. WiFi is available throughout the property (for an added fee), so you can keep in touch with the world, even while on holiday!
Sports on land and on the water in the Landes
On the campsite’s lakefront beach, it is perfectly safe for you and your kids to swim and splash about. The water there is quite shallow for the first 100 metres from the shore. You can also go paddleboarding in this tranquil setting.
Discover the joys of the ocean, just a few kilometres from the campsite, at Biscarrosse-Plage. With its waves, and even some rollers at times, the Atlantic promises unforgettable surfing and kitesurfing rides.
A bike path runs behind the campsite. Hire a bike for a cycling tour of the Landes Forest. From there, you can make your way to all the villages around Lake Cazaux and Sanguinet, the small Biscarrosse Pond and the larger Lake Biscarrosse and Parentis.

Curiosities of the Landes region
One of the most impressive natural curiosities in Aquitaine is the Dune of Pilat. Located about 30 kilometres north of Biscarrosse, this dune is the tallest in all of Europe, rising to a height of 100 metres. The view from the top is unbeatable, with the Landes Forest in Gascony on one side and the Silver Coast, the mouth of Arcachon Bay and the Atlantic Ocean on the other.
Aviation enthusiasts can relive the transatlantic crossings of yore aboard an old flying/floating machine at the Seaplane Museum, a 20 minute bike ride from our 4-star campsite in Biscarrosse.
Lastly, to help you remember the heritage of the Landes and how the region’s ancestors once lived, the Museum of Traditions and History displays a variety of tools and other objects from the past. After your tour, you can go for a boat ride on the marsh to experience its rich flora and fauna that are typical of the area.
