At Plage Sud, our campsite near Lake Biscarrosse, everything is in place to ensure that every member of your family has a grand time, without ever feeling bored.

The water complex features 3 heated outdoor pools: an upper pool, a lower pool and a paddling pool for waterbabies. The swimming pools have attached hot tubs. We are installing a giant water slide dropping into the lower pool for wild rides and lots of refreshing splashes!

At the Kids’ Club at Plage Sud Campsite in Biscarrosse, our activities coordinators will look after your children by age bracket. That way, everyone can make new friends their own age and take part in age-appropriate activities they enjoy.

For both children and teens, these include arts & crafts, games, the creation of shows, and dancing during evening events organized specially for them. In the meanwhile, there’s plenty for parents to do. They can go hiking, let their hair down during our dance parties, karaoke nights and group games, watch magic shows and theatre, compete in our Olympics, and so much more. Fitness, low-impact aerobics and stretching classes are also offered.

For meals, because you’re on holiday and you want to relax without having to deal with meal planning like at home, you will find a bar and snack bar for quick bites, a fresh bread delivery service for breakfast and picnics and a food truck for takeaway.

Are you coming for a seaside holidays with your tent, caravan or motorhome? Our campsite near Lake Biscarrosse has nearly 300 pitches that can accommodate you, all of them fitted with a 6A power socket. Two toilet and shower blocks with toilets, sinks, showers, family shower stalls and a dog washing area are at your disposal, as is a laundry room.

Do you travel light and appreciate the comfort of a kitchen with mod cons and a private bathroom? Then opt for one of our rentals for 4, 5 or 6 people. They are all fitted with a safe for your valuables, patio furniture so you can dine all fresco, a microwave oven and an electric coffee maker.

And if you have a baby, you can hire a baby set on site, including a cot, a high chair and a baby bath.

So you can stay connected to the outside world while on holiday, or if you’re working remotely, WiFi is available throughout the campsite (for a fee).

Things to do in and around our campsite near Lake Biscarrosse

At our Biscarrosse-Plage campsite, you will find a sports ground where you can play football, basketball or handball. You can of course bring your own balls with you, but if needed, your can borrow some from the campsite. The same applies to table tennis paddles.

We also have a petanque court and a game room with billiards and table football, plus a children’s playground.

Because Plage Sud Campsite is just 800 metres from the Atlantic Ocean, there will be no shortage of opportunities to go for a dip. In addition, this part of Aquitaine boasts a famous spot for surfing and kitesurfing. Here, hire motorboats, towable tubes and land yachts are available for hire.

To make the most of nature in the heart of the Landes Forest, you can hire a bicycle, play a 27-hole round at Biscarrosse Golf Course, go horse riding with the local riding club, climb along a treetop adventure course or enjoy the peace and quiet of fishing near our campsite by Lake Biscarrosse and Lake Cazaux and Sanguinet.

If you’re a fan of aviators like Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Jean Mermoz, the Seaplane Museum awaits you by Lake Biscarrosse and Parentis, on the old Latécoère air base. There, you can learn about the history of these “liners of the air” and of the first transatlantic crossings, all the way to present-day seaplanes that help to fight fires, for example.

If you’re a history buff, head over to the Museum of Traditions, where you will learn how the inhabitants of the Landes lived and worked in the past, as illustrated by the many tools and objects on display. After your tour, go for a boat ride on the marsh to discover its wealth of local flora and fauna.
